It would be great to meet a fun energetic, querky, ecletic woman to hang out with. I've worked very hard to get to where I am so catching up on play time is important, & ideally it would lead to happiness-ever-after ;>)

Despite my years of experience (LOL) I remain very young at heart. I am a great guy, healthy, modestly intelligent, fun to be with, an able passionate partner, very eclectic, a rather unusual broad collection of talents & interests, a little off the wall, I like to have fun, be crazy, spontaneous... like the time I climbed to the top of the roof of the SkyDome-honest

I'm 6'2" 227lbs well proportioned swimmers build, light brown hair, blue eyes, nice shoulders & large but fine & dexterous hands ;p) Professionally I am a designer & international museum consultant -creative yet grounded. Fitness-wise, I'm a national level waterpolo player...I compete against 20 year olds. I also earned my black belt in 2005. I'm well travelled (6of7 continents...I'll make it to Antarctica yet...flown around the world 3 times) & I can tell a good bedtime story.
I'm a good listener, easy to talk to. I help my friends with their troubles. I'm no chef but can cook & enjoy sharing in all the everyday survival tasks like dishes, laundry, groceries & making the bed & I know how to have fun doing them.
I am easy going- love to dance but totally incapable of meeting people in bars. I lack the superficial masks required for pickup rituals.

You can see from the pic of my niece and nephew hanging from my arms that I play well with children. If you have children then I would see them as an enrichment. I've been told that I'm a great adult figure in a single parent environment, but that I'd also make an amazing father. Having not been married and not been lucky enough to find someone I knew I would spend a lifetime with, doesn't allow a context to long for children. If you still want children, and we find a lifelong connection, I'm up for that too...but it is really the life long connection that is paramount. What we choose to do together is all part of the adventure. I guess what I'm saying is that I can be happy both with children or just with you, because ultimately it is our interaction that should be the foundation for happiness.

What am I looking for? Someone like me-a best friend-caring, sharing, loving, adventurous, tough yet sensitive, physical, active & athletic, creative. Someone to share with, someone to teach & to learn from, strong enough to challenge me, sensitive enough to allow me my weaknesses & faults- forgive me-I digress-oops! I am quite a physical person-luv to touch & hold hands-give an amazing massage. I have the strength to talk about real things, emotions, misunderstandings but prefer to jest around, tease & make people laugh. I don't take myself too seriously & can play the goof because I know that in reality I'm pretty rare. I'll make you laugh & smile all the time & if you won't I'll tickle you mercilessly.

OH and just a little PS on the much debated "favorites" thing.
In my opinion, adding someone to your favorites is either
a) kind of like smiling on Lavalife "hey you look interesting, you interested in me?" or
b) OK, I've already emailed 3 people this week, that's enough incase they all write back (not likely, but still ;>), but she looks interesting so I'll book mark her profile so I can find her if I'm still looking next week.

A coffee or tea down by the beach, or even dinner if we've already had a long chat and a few laughs on the phone
