I feel as comfortable in my pumas as I do in a pair of dress shoes. Home cooked meal, take out, at the restaurant, it doesn't matter as long as I'm with someone who interests me. I like I like to mix things up and try to avoid routines. I love a good conversation. It doesn't matter what the topic is. I tend to be pretty laid back and easy going. Not too much ruffles my feathers. I enjoy nice/expensive things but I don't need them to feel good. I work hard to be successful but make sure there is balance in my life.

I lived for 12 years in San Francisco and feel that doing so really influenced who I am today in a good way. I'm quick-witted, sarcastic, and funny but know when to be serious. I'm up for adventure and I'm willing to try just about anything with the right person. I like sporty things but don't tend to watch much sports. I liked indie films over blockbusters. I'm giving and compassionate but also expect the same in return. I believe in chivalry and look back to the times of Sinatra for a sense of style, class and pizzazz.

I enjoy snowboarding, photography, golf, tennis, mountain biking, camping, film, art and music. I don't typically follow trends. I don't speak a foreign language other than broken Spanish, but I do like exotic and foreign things. I am looking for someone who is intelligent, driven, attractive to me, funny, compassionate, eclectic, and independent. Also, that someone should have a good work ethic and perhaps a sense of style. To be honest, I like someone who has a little something special, whether it is quirkiness, unique hobbies, burgandy hair, goofy sense of humor, whatever. If you are looking for the khaki pants/blue shirt frat, sports watching, testosterone driven guy, then you are not looking for me. If you are looking for someone who is sensual, responsive, caring, challenging and someone who pays attention to you then you may be in luck.

I consider myself complex but in a good way, mature but young, smart, passionate, grounded, confident, well rounded and cultured. I'm looking for many of these same traits in the person I'm with.

My ideal match would be someone who doesn't mind any combination of the following: dressing up and going out on the town, snowboarding in Tahoe for the weekend, watching an indie film on the couch while eating takeout, driving down the coast without a particular destination, going to an art exhibit or something in between. Someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously would be nice too. If you can't laugh at yourself then how can you expect to truly enjoy the humor life throws at us? =]

I'll most likely surprise you with options for our date. I'll plan everything out if that works for you. It may be enjoying wine & cheese at a art gallery opening, it could be attending a concert, it could be a tasty dinner in SF, Palo Alto or Saratoga. Depends on what you like...could be as simple as hanging out at a cafe enjoying a cup of coffee and a pastry. I don't mind things that are off the beaten path as well....I seek out the new, exciting and intriguing.
