About Me
I have 2 great kids, 17 & 15 and they are my world. I spend a lot of time with them and one needs to be aware of this up front. They are getting older now so my time left with them before they leave the nest and move on to bigger and better things is limited. I take any moment I can. That is not to say that I spend every moment with them, as I have a life and so do they.
I love to play volleyball any chance I can get. I would really love to try beach volleyball one day. I also enjoy playing baseball. I play both games on mixed leagues as they are more challenging.
I like to take walks along the boardwalk and on the bicycle path in the park.
I love camping and make a killer bbq chicken and veggie dish.
I love to laugh and make people laugh, although I am shy at first, I can quickly come around once I get to know someone.
Good friends are hard to find and my friends are extremely important to me. I value their opinions and cherish my time with them. I wouldn't trade them for anything.
I like to read (somewhat) and Harlan Coben is my favorite author.
I am not into the bar scene and I find that it is very difficult to meet someone in a town where the streets roll up at 5:00 (except for the bars), so I am giving POF a try...

First Date
I wouldn't call it a first date, it would be a "meeting". Coffee for the "meeting" and if we hit it off, we can both decide on a first date. If we don't, then at least we have not committed ourselves to a meal or a movie that neither one of us want to finish.
