Hi, my name is Alexander or Alex for short, but I prefer the longer version. I am a Structural Engineer by trade and a keen cricketer in my spare time. I have resorted to the internet because that seems to be the latest craze and I have had enough of the club scene. You never get to truly talk to someone at a club and when you do actually find somewhere to talk you find that you have nothing in common and have to start all over again.

My life at the moment is spent renovating my mothers house in my spare time and house hunting for her. She has just retired from teaching and I am helping her relocate, which is what she has wanted to do for a long time. So, as you can imagine I don't get out too much on my own free will.

A first date for me would have to be somewhere that will allow our true character and connection to run free. First we would have a small bite to eat and a drink, just to get the formal greeting out of the way, then we would go to somewhere fun and relaxing. To me that would be a live football (AFL) match or a relaxed game of bowling or something that can be fun for the two of us. I find that anything too formal is always nerve-racking and neither person truly gets to know one another.
