About me:
I’m rather easy to please – patios, good tv shows like Heroes and Gord Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, day trips through the country, live music. I hope most of my friends would agree that I'm optimistic by nature, a good listener, and thoughtful. I like spending time understanding the world around me, trying out new things, and traveling to new places (this summer, I’ve been to three provinces that I’ve never been to before – Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick). My favourite moments, however, revolve around having genuine, quiet conversations with people I care about.
In my day job, I'm a management consultant to federal government clients. I’m originally in Alberta, but a couple of years ago I made my way to Ontario to get a Master’s degree. I moved to Ottawa just last summer, so I’m looking for someone to explore the entire city with.
About you:
I’m looking for a young professional, or a student about to become a young professional. You are smart, but not pretentious; confident, but not arrogant; hard-working, but enjoy being goofy. To start, how about a walk around Parliament Hill or the Byward Market, followed by drinks? If that goes well, perhaps a second date featuring a short hike through the Gatineaus.
