Warm, womanly, and wise, I've been called smart, loyal, sexy, funny, feminine, compassionate, and strong: you be the judge. I am practical when necessary but a true romantic at heart. I love surprises and relish the chance to explore new people, places, and things.

My passions include travel (Italy remains my all-time favorite, but I have so many places yet to explore both domestically and internationally), theater (I go as often as I can - and would love to sample Broadway more), film (especially indies and foreign films), and animals: I have a black spaniel - too funny, this web site censored the type of spaniel it is; and I am a sucker for puppies.

What I seek is true partnership: two people who are open, willing to be vulnerable, and dedicated to sharing their lives. I hope we have common interests (as well as some of our own), support each other through tough times, cheer each others' accomplishments, and provide a safe place to land when the outside world throws us a curve. We will give each other a haven to be all that we are (the good and the bad) without shame or blame or guilt, and we will not only bring out the best in each other but also accept each others' flaws. And each of us will have the freedom and the safety to ask for what we want with the understanding that we might not always get it; the key is the openness and honesty that allows us each to "be."

And what kind of man do I seek? I'm drawn to intelligence, accomplishment, integrity, humor, warmth, and compassion. What's in your heart is more important to me than how you look. You are a man who earns admiration and treats others with courtesy and respect.
