Emty eyes of pride can't see,
There sad state of mentality,
Lost in a world of make believe,
With empty eyes of pride.
Hallow lives that go to waste,
Run rampant in the dreams they chase,
Following through in all there haste,
With empty eyes of pride.
Seeking for the will to fight,
Mobs crowd into the shrowded night,
Settling for "angelic" light,
With empty eyes of pride.
The pride of life will take its toll,
On souls who give up there control,
To empty idols,
Made of Gold,
With empty eyes of pride!!! ( a song I wrote and published)
The poem really says it all, as today too many people are this way, too filled with pride and selfish eogs to see there own self destruction!!!
Are you content with your life, really?
Ever question why, why your here?
Ever think that perhaps there is a better place than this?
Well there is, but its not of this world.
This life will shortly pass, its only what you do for Christ that will last!!!
I find that honesty is essential in any relationship.
I am loyal to those I care about, and strive to be a good person.
