I'm a pretty normal guy (at least, I think I am); I have a job that I like, a condo that I like and friends that I like - so far, so good! Now for the part I'm not so thrilled about: I'm single. I guess it is fair to say that I'm looking for a girlfriend that I like (I've tried girlfriends I don't like - they're problematic).

I'm looking for a lady who is lighthearted, kind and not too serious. I'm not into games (God, I am so waiting for somebody to say they're into games - just once...), and I'm pretty much drama-intolerant, so if you find yourself screaming at the TV during American Idol I'm probably not the guy for you. That being said, I certainly understand that there are times in everyone's life when bona fide problems will occur - its just that I don't think anything printed in People magazine falls into that category. Okay, that was longwinded...

To wrap up, I have no kids, ex-wives, cyber-stalkers or enroute mail order brides, so I'm pretty much baggage free (which I like), so if you see/read anything you like, send me a note!

Here it is - the most original response ever: I'd prefer to just have a cup of coffee or a drink somewhere. I figure everybody answers this question the same way for a reason: a first meeting really isn't a first date. Plus, if we both feel there is potential for date #2 (by POF's count), it will give us something to talk about on "date" #1!
