Before you read any further, I should tell you I'm not from Edmonton, but I travel there often and am looking for cool people to hang out with. Also, I will be going to Ottawa occasionally for work, and don't know it at all; if anyone there wants to volunteer to show me around, you're more than welcome to :)

Here's what should grab you about me: The appreciation of style, rather than fashion and I hate to see a good outfit go to waste. Turn-ons that include tattoos, rock 'n roll, and healthy doses of sarcasm. I confess that bad attitudes can sometimes be quite charming. Humour should push the envelope of acceptability, and is best served dry, but manners and ettiquette mandatory for most other social interaction. I try to reconcile the "professional", the "well-educated", and the intelligent vs. the edgy, the rebellious, and sometimes just "the wrong side of the tracks".

Are you up for record store excursions where we shout what the other should buy from across the room? Or an afternoon drinking coffee, and breaking the silence to read an interesting newspaper article out loud? Road trips where I try to be heroic and do all the driving, and in addition, manage to get us lost? How about just teaching me something new? If you've answered any of these in the affirmative, maybe we should chat...
