The Arts:

I am first and foremost an artist. India ink is my favorite medium, with charcoal right behind it. I can spend much time alone sketching and working on digital artwork.

Secondly, I'm a musician! I was recently in a band as a keyboardist and backup singer. Whenever I can, I play piano. I can harmonize, but I've heard I have a good voice for lead. I play guitar okay... and I hope to someday write my own music.

Last of all, I'm a writer. Not an author yet, I haven't done anything that good. This is one area I want to work on as my endings are sketchy...

Skills:

I'm working on my home skills. I can cook but am constantly learning. Though I'm not vegetarian, I have a greener diet than most Americans. I can knit and sew some! So if I like you, I'm going to make you a scarf! (Not really, don't freak out on me here!)

I've also got good people skills, and love meeting new people.

Likes and Dislikes:

I'm not very picky, either when it comes to activities, food, or how to spend an evening. Well... except for very spicy or very bland food. I'm easygoing, maybe too much. Outdoors time or indoor time, a walk on the beach or a movie night... it's all good.

I'm involved in the church. Not big on denominations, but I've got the basic belief of Christianity. Last year I was on a mission trip in Peru and the December before that was a trip to the Bahamas to build a church.

I like simple. If a guy takes me somewhere really nice on the first date, I feel obligated to give him something back (i.e. saying "yes" to a relationship when I want to say "no, I want to know you better").

Later on there's room for more intimacy if there's a mutual attraction. So for a first date, something short and simple and public.
