Yet another rewrite. I am not flashy or charming. I like to think of myself as quality. I place great value on personal integrity. This includes honesty and reliability. *I sound like a car ad* I have been told I am fairly attractive. I don't have an advanced education, but I am quite intelligent. I'm not an athlete, but I do try to live a healthy lifestyle. I am an optimist. I do my best to put a posititive spin on any adversity. You will almost always see a smile on my face. I try to be patient and see things from another's perspective. I won't always agree with a person, but I respect their right to have their opinion. I don't go for designer labels, but I like to be comfortable. For me a car is not a status symbol. It is something to get me to where I want to be. I have a good sense of humor that ranges from dry wit to slapstick. I laugh at myself all the time. I'm not political, but to give you an idea of my views, lets just say I'm a fan of Lewis Black, Jon Stewart, and Michael Moore. I enjoy all types of music except rap and metal. Listening to angry people with bad attitudes and little vocal ability is not my idea of a good time. I never really got into sports, but I enjoy watching football on occasion.

What I am looking for is someone who who shares my attitude towards life. Focus on what is offered not what is denied. Someone who is filled with joy, whose laughter comes easily. I was very shy growing up which I overcame, but I am still socially awkward. I would like her to be able to get past that and instigate a little PDA on occassion. She would find I would respond with enthusiasm. I admit to being shallow enough to want find someone whom I find physically attractive, but I am also deep enough that I want to be with someone I can have a conversation with. She must have her own life with her own interests and be willing to allow me to have my own. This way we both bring something to the relationship. I want to be part of their life and they will be part of mine. Neither one of us should expect the other to be thier whole life and lose thier individuality. I would like her to be confident in herself. She should be casual yet still enjoy girly clothes on occasion. I just enjoy the things that make women different from men.

The photos I have up are a year or two old. I'm trying to locate some that are more recent. I still look the same though. I was blessed with good genes that keep me youthful. I won't write to someone without a photo and wouldn't expect them to write to me if I didn't have one. I saw the following about photos on someone elses profile and decided to add it to mine.

Your friends and family might recognise you in a hat and sunglasses, but I won't.
Photos of you across the room or down the street are obscure at best.
Photos of your car or your pets are not helpful. Its the same for places you've been to. It's the person I want to meet.
