I'm not the type of guy who flourishes in the bar scene. How can I possibly distinguish myself apart from every other guy there. Also how do you instigate conversation with a girl in a bar and it not instantly trigger the "He's trying to get laid" vibe?

So here I am. Sadly the company I worked for was a swirling vortex of failure and they had to let most of us worthwhile staff go, so I am now on vacation. I can pay my rent for the next 10 months on my savings so I don't mean I am an unemployed mooch, I mean I am on a well earned and long awaited vacation. Like the rest of humanity I am a fan of music and movies. I am really into classic rock and The Doors are my favorite classic rock band. I do like music from almost every genre but rock and especially classic will always be my favorite. I am also an avid movie fan and can match wits with the best of them over movie trivia. I can get along with just about anyone except for the incredibly stupid and or uptight. If you are down with an herbal lifestyle then lets talk.

I am kind of traditional in that I like the dinner and movie type dates. I am down for just about anything really but it has to be something where you get to spend time together and are able to talk without having to shout. I enjoy getting out end trying new places and seeing new things but dates are for getting to know each other and enjoying each others company rather than just having a warm body to go do X event with. Thats what your friends are for.
