I wanted to say that my profile is a lot more wordy than I would like it to be...that being said I owe my profile some tlc. I'm wanting to simplify my life- bikram, more time for tea, catching up with old as well as making new friends, perfecting my fireplace appreciation skills- These things are important to me, life needs to keep it's center- you sometimes have to keep your tools off of it so you can fix it. Sorry if that's cryptic- makes sense to my colleagues and students. Yeah. Stay tuned. Editing to come.

I'm a cool chick. I'm an artist, have extensive training in glassblowing I teach it, tutor in college level drawing and am continuing my education. I have the travel bug. I want to meet someone new and as adventurous as I; to date this has been very difficult to find. Really I'm just looking for good people...you know who you are. I'm at a point in my life where I am ready to enjoy experiences with someone special to me be it watching a movie, road trip through europe, or something in between. Country music makes my ears bleed...really, most hip hop and rap gives me a headache after a while - guess I'm a bit of a music snob.
I lived in Europe for more than five years and have been home for less than two years; I feel a bit out of practice in the dating scene in this country. My friends that I used to go out and get dates with got married and had kids, moved away, or we grew apart - that's not to say I don't have loads of friends; we just lead different lives. My profession is one that tends to be quite rare - hard to identify with, I also do not like to date other glassblowers - wayyyyy too much shop talk. Sigh.

I can't really be put into one category; I'm short and round, evil and sweet, a girlish tomboy. One thing that can be said is that I am a balanced woman - I got me some yin in my yang. I'm the one you really should connect with, unless you have a mullet or you're an a-hole.

Sushi works for me, I love a good museum. Maybe just seeing where the road takes us. If we click, the opportunities are endless. I'm open to suggestions.
