I am a 30 year old man with auburn hair. I am an adjunct professor at WVU Tech and I am a doctoral candidate in computer science. I enjoy computers (obviously), television (House MD, CSI, Grey's Anatomy, Smallville are some of my favorites), movies (horror and comic book movies currently), and books (mostly computer books due to school, but I enjoy fantasy books like the Harry Potter series and many others). Like it says in my headline, I have been clinically dead three times. I only remember the last two (and no I didn't see a tunnel or a light). I'm not religious (I actually haven't been inside a church since high school if you discount weddings), although I do believe in a higher power. I just don't believe in anthropomorphizing it. I enjoy being the smartest person in the room, and I do realize that most people find this to be annoying. I can be compassionate, but I can also be brutally direct. I tend to favor logic over emotion. My ideal match would be someone who can challenge my mind. I do not stand for cheating. The way I see it, if you are going to cheat, just break it off with me. I would also like to meet someone who can handle my character flaws, as well as be reassuring when I am feeling insecure. Anyone who has an interest in me will have to realize that with my studies, a lot of my time is not my own. Although, I am willing to make time for that special someone.

Living in a small town there isn't much to do, so with limited options I like to go to a nice dinner and maybe catch a movie. I don't really like clubs, but I have been known to go. Also I have, on occasion, went bowling...be warned that I am not very adept at it. I really like to have a good conversation. I don't abide by the social rules of never discussing religion or politics, because I believe both are essential in truly attempting to relate to someone.
