Hi.......Thanks for visiting my profile...

I live at the foothills of the beautiful Pocono mountains near Bath, Pa.

I think everyone and everything is part of the Universe because it should be, and all is here to teach a lesson.
Life is a fabulous journey not to be ignored. Never stop trying new things. I love things that are out of the norm for most my age. Riding on the back of a Harley gives me a better high than some might get with drugs. Which by the way, if your into drugs dont even bother to contact me. I make no judgements but have never done drugs and dont want them around me.

The journey to where I am today has been long and hard at times, but well worth the trip. I think every person and event in your life is a learning experience that sets us on the path to wholeness. I have been widowed for 9 years and am now ready to continue on the journey of life. Are you ready to walk that path with me? It could be an amazing and exciting journey with the right person. I am admittedly a strong independent woman with a soft side.
I have one amazing daughter and 2 fabulous grandsons.

The past is the past and thats where it should remain......if it brings you anger and bitterness and it affects you fine, but dont bring it into my world. I have peace and serenity and wont take on someone else's angst.I have worked on myself mentally, eomotionally, and spiritually to get to where I am today..........

Due to my NA heritage I have a tremendous respect for the Earth and everything in it.The seasons represent our life and all life that exists serves a purpose. (except maybe that darn c0ckroach lol) I am not a conformist and dont follow the masses just because it seems to be the thing to do or is PC. I can be feisty, but know how to be a compromiser.

I can take a walk in the woods with the excitement of a child.....can you?

. I wont lie to you and dont expect any lies FROM you. And I WILL know. lol Honesty, loyalty, kindness, understanding is what you will get from me......tell me what you have to offer?...... sounds like I'm describing a puppy doesnt it? lol lol



I am not looking to marry,but I have learned never to say never. Having someone to share special times with would be nice. Who wouldnt like having that special someone in their life. A soft place to land when the world seems to close in with everyday problems. Someone who can once again give me that butterflies in the stomach feeling.

I am in no way perfect(well I thought so once or twice lol) and am not seeking perfection just someone perfect for me..... kindness and a person who has a sense of who they are. ....I dont want someone I can live WITH.......I want someone I cant live WITHOUT.
In my former life(working) I was an Optician and a sexual abuse counselor.....one helped pay the bills the other fed my soul.

I have a sense of humor that at times defies understanding. I love a man that has a good smile....to me smiling shows contentment with oneself. I love confidence in a man but overly assertive doesnt work well with me.

And by the way...I dont NEED you. I dont need your money, I have my own. I dont need you because I'm lonely, I have friends and family. I dont need your for sex, I could walk across the street and get that if I didntwant a relationship. BUT........I WANT you. I want your for the intimacy I cant get from anyone else. I want you because you will be there to listen to my joys and my sorrows. I want you to be my best friend.

I dont say we will never disagree, but if we do I will communicate,compromise,and negotiate. I will not sulk,pout,yell or shut you out.
