Sooo.. Internet dating hey...? jeebus. Well I guess I really WILL try anything once!!

Ok, what do I say here? I am a fun, easy going, down-to-earth, pretty straightforward person. I am originally from Ontario (don't hold it against me), moved to BC 5 years ago, but for the last 4.5 years I have been living in Whistler (Oooo miss it terribly!). Had to eventually rejoin the real world, so here I am in Van.
I am a *tad* on the sarcastic side and have often been pegged as having a "quirky" (mmm... twisted??) sense of humor.
I might come across as shy at first, but I assure you I am not. I can be a bit of a goof, and like to make people laugh - often at the expense of my own integrity. I would love to find a person who can appreciate that... I love stupid humor, and *might* have seen Superbad about 10 times.
I am the opposite of a high maintenance chick: I am independent and realistic. So, sorry guys, if you are seeking a lady who owns 1000 pairs of shoes, or carries around a rat-like dog in her purse, I am not your girl...
I like to be outside... camping, beaches, frosty bevvies on a patio, boating, snowboarding woo! I will try anything once, but more likely twice. And although I really am intelligent (doing my 2nd degree now), I fully admit I do not look or act my age... so I work with kids.
I love my music - all kinds, mainly heavy stuff (Killswitch Engage, Godsmack, NIN, Tool, A7F, Disturbed, Metallica... you get it) but I have been known to get my dance on to a little Kanye when the situation prevails. I still love 80's hair bands and I am not afraid to admit it... I still have a soft spot for Gn'R.
I know... it's sick!

I like casual, jeans-and-hoodie, trades-y, outdoorsy types... and heck yes I'm down with tattoos. I am looking to meet genuine, fun, down to earth peeps who can make me laugh. Ambition doesn't hurt either... mix that with a little spontaneity and random movie quotes...

...and maybe someone who likes Gn'R... c'mon... just a little.
