There are so many fish in the sea, but they all seem to have gone downstream... or down the toilet. Anyway, I guess you can say that I prefer balance in life. I'm up for doing something energetic like bike riding, but definitely love to relax. I like to go out, but also keep myself just as busy at home. Spending time with friends and family is great, but I also need time to myself. I like the old stuff, I like the new stuff (most of it). I like Def Leppard and salsa music, and can dance to both. Alright, I'll try to keep it simple here since I can be notorious for talking too much, yet coincidently not enough:

Likes: Music, dancing, the beach, writing (music, poems, short stories), chatting, laughing, shopping (gotta have your own fashion), uniqueness, animals, sleeping late, social gatherings, astrology, hats & earrings, creativity, humor, chocolate, ice cream, chocolate ice cream, the supernatural, some TV, a down-to earth mentality, intelligence (no eggheads please)...

Neutral: Politics, business, sports (I’m pretty indifferent to them-feel free to have whatever favorite team you want), stock market, drinking (I don’t need alcohol to have fun and only drink when I’m thirsty)

Dislikes: Cruelty, the hygienically challenged, arrogance, waking up before I’m ready, too much gossip (although some is fun), exercising in a gym (personally), MTV reality shows, ignorance, heavy drinking/smoking

I'd love to be rich, but would choose to be so in things you can't buy over those you can (you might disagree if you looked in my closet – hee hee).

I tend to lean towards meeting locally. If being in NYC takes up a good portion of your time then there's an unfortunate chance for incompatibility. If you absolutely HAVE to watch 'the game' religiously then I will have to pass. I would rather date somewhat of a goofball than a stud, but certainly not a dork (i.e. Revenge of the Nerds)! I like to keep things friendly for the first meeting and perhaps the 2nd & 3rd. Those with reputations comparing to the rear end of a mule are welcome to continue at the expense of being utterly humiliated. I go for the quiet shy type who gets more interesting as you get to know him, but certainly not more sketchy. Confidence but not arrogance. I dig long hair on guys, but not the kind that resembles rolling out of bed. No wallflowers on the dance floor please. Good writers and musicians is an added bonus for me.

Something atypical is cool, but I don't need to be impressed. Anything that would allow an easy exchange of words would be important. I do like ice cream. No bungee jumping .
