I am a man who wants to enjoy life to the fullest. I just think it is more fun when you have someone to share it with. I love laughter and have a dry sense of humor. I am comfortable in a formal or casual setting although living in FL the later is more prevalent. I love new places, travel and the exploration of out of the way places that only the locals know about. I am imaginative and a bit of a dreamer but I am completely reliable when it comes to the responsibilities of life. I am an artist/writer and creative expression is very important to me. My mediums are watercolor and pastel but my vocation is publishing and producing collectibles. I am so blessed to be doing what I love for a living! I enjoy working out at the gym on a regular basis, being outdoors, riding horses, volleyball, hiking, and kayaking/canoeing, etc. I enjoy sports but I'm not avid about it. I watch the Bucs but I'm not a sit at home and watch every single sporting event type of guy. I enjoy fixing up old homes, perhaps because I like accomplishment. I am goal oriented. I am a big kid at heart. I love pop culture. It is an important part of my life, in business and pleasure. I love old things, things from the past, old books, magazines, silent movies, vintage clothing, etc. History is intriguing to me. I hold old fashioned values dear, holding doors, holding hands, saying "yes, ma'am and no, sir." Chivalry is not dead in my book! I am a Christian and my faith is important to me. I guess that is me in a nutshell. Want to know more just get to know me. I'm pretty open.
The woman I'm hoping to find will have like spiritual and moral values. She can have had a past, (who hasn't) but she has to be accepting of herself and comfortable with who she is. I'd like to be with someone who will support me in my work and with whom I can support in hers. It is important that she be able and comfortable in communication. I believe that give and take in a relationship is important. It can't be one sided. I'd like someone to be my partner in enjoying life to the fullest but someone who doesn't cop out if life ever throws a curve ball because it inevitably does. I hope we can connect!
First Date
I don't have a problem making decisions but I would ask my date what she would enjoy doing and then we can come to a joint decision on what to do. My preference would be to do something during the day like going to the beach to eat lunch and then taking a long walk afterward so we can talk and get to know one another. We might go play a round of goofy golf or go bike riding. The main thing is that we talk and get to know one another.
