About Me
How many people do you know that is 24, has a pilot’s license, a bachelors degree, working in a job they LOVE and a overall understanding of what they want? That is me in a nut shell.
I'm new to Arlington, VA and I don't know anyone. I recently graduated college from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL with a degree in Aviation Management. I love the aviation industry and its unpredictability and I have entered the field in the area of aviation environmental science.
I am an optimistic, intellectual go-getter, that is very open-minded, easy going, and spontaneous. I am bubbly person with many aspirations, who is looking for my one perfect match. I can be very independent, but I do enjoy getting spoiled once in a while. I love being outdoors especially if it involves the water. You can find me either at the beach, the pool, relaxing in the sun, or out on the open water on a nice day. However, I do enjoy my lazy days staying in, watching a movie with a glass of wine. I really love going out and enjoying the company of friends over dinner at a new restaurant or somewhere for drinks. I like to go dancing, clubbing, and partying. I love to watch football, I am definitly a Patriots fan, as I am from MA. I am also a country girl, bring on the PBRs, muddin, hiking/exploring, and rock climbing. Staying active is the way I think life should be lead.
I really would like to find a guy who matches my personality. Fun, outgoing people with a great sense of humor, who will treat me with respect. I have a wide range of friends and I would really like to find people who will be great friends as well. If you have any questions for me, go ahead and send me a message.
I would like to find my better half, someone who completes me, someone who makes me happy, someone who makes me laugh when I am sad, someone who is not affraid to take care of me when I am sick, someone who will stand by my side. Someone who is honest strong willed, compassionate, humorous, sweet, romantic, and kind! This person would also need to be very goal orientated, and smart! I would also like to meet new friends, people who are not afraid to be themselves.
The following is something I wrote when I was in a very contemplative mood:
Life is what you make of it! You are what you make of yourself! Love is how hard you try to make it work, how much effort you put forth, and how much effort the other person is willing to put forth. To love is to honor, to trust, to complete each other's sentences, to be your other's better half, to always be there. To love means being willing to wipe away tears, to be a shoulder to cry on, to hold their hair back when they are sick, to laugh with, to cry with, to laugh so hard that you start crying, to be yourself no matter what, and to help your partner be themselves. Don't waste your time being fake, don't waste your time with fake people, don't spend all your savings because you want to, and don’t pretend your actions and words don't hurt others. Don't ever say something you don't mean! Do remember that everything you do, say, and become affects everyone around you, do remember to never go o bed angry, do remember to always say what you mean, and mean what you say. Do remember that others will always take advantage of you if given the opportunity, remember to talk about things, be insightful, reach within yourself and talk about something even if that is not the norm for you! Always listen to and take advise from anyone willing to dish it out because who knows when that will happen again free of charge. If you have something to say, just say it, don't be scared about someone reactions, because they are not your main priority, you are! Remember that your family is your family and without them, you would be all alone, because partners and friends can come and go as quickly as an April shower. Also, remember that friends can stick like glue, and stay with you for a lifetime. To hold a grudge will only hurt you, because not talking will only make matters worse. To ignore is to pretend as if you are not listening and can hurt people more so than you originally thought. To ignore someone their entire life is torture, and will severely mess that person up later in life. Be talkative, be imaginative, be creative, be a listener, be a friend, and be a lover! Most important lesson of all is: BE YOURSELF not because I’m telling you to, but because you are not truly comfortable being anyone but yourself!
First Date
I think that going somewhere for drinks or coffee to talk and get to know each other is the best thing. It gives each person an idea if they would be interested in going out on a real date with something planned, like dinner and a show, or lunch and a hike, or breakfast and a museum. Whatever the case the first date should be something simple, and something in which we could talk.
