Song of the Day: Why not share my passion for good music with my readers? One song a day, introduced by me in my best Patrick Bateman (american psycho lead) Today we add to my list that started with Sublime from the 90's, Weezer from the 00's with an 80's tune that is now my theme song. I actually hear it today on the way to the airport and brought back many memories as I hadn't heard it in 20 or so years.

Some songs have staying power, others have sentimental value and that's the reason you like them decades later. I think this one is both to me. About me: Obviously I don't follow directions well, as I use the description as my latest blog, and first date as my description. I own a fairly successful sales company with offices in Naperville, and Scottsdale, Az. I travel most every week for 2-3 days, where I spend lots of time in Indiana, Arizona and Vegas. I am not sure where I am going to settle down in, Arizona, or Chicago but spend a lot of time in both. I went to the University of South Carolina, where I was the flyhalf (similar to quarterback in football) for the undefeated 1986 rugby squad. I have spent so many years being someone that others wanted me to be, now I am going to be me, like it or not.

I am independent, athletic, diverse, and out to enjoy myself. Currently 6' 201 lbs, all my teeth and straight, all my hair(none on back), and blue eyes. I still do have a wild hair in me, but I am up front, honest, and know if I don't lie the first time, I dont have to lie to cover up the lie. makes things so much easier. If you are looking for someone to "complete" you or a "soul mate" as I see so many profiles list, well I'm not Alan Alda. If you're looking for someone to have fun with, live a little, try something new or spontaneous then it may be me. I'm going to have fun with this.

Outside of my children and siblings, my passions really are offshore fishing. I feel so alive out on the water fighting 100 pound tunas that make your arms and back scream as they dive to the depths. Hell, I love everything about the ocean, whether sitting on the beach, body surfing, fishing, snorkeling, diving or spearfishing. I haven't sailed or sea kayaked yet, but plan to in the next couple years. I love college football. I have several connections to the South Carolina program and follow them closely. Outside of some Bears and most Cubs games, college football is about the only TV I am watching nowadays.

I love being outdoors, although it is such a short season in Chicago. i despise the cold, gloom, and bleakness of this area for 7 months of the year. Luckily Vegas and Phoenix are in my territory and I rack up enough free tickets to take jaunts elsewhere on a whim. Finally, I love music, and if you read through my blogs its a common theme.

As far as a woman. If I seem like a possibility, and you are 1) in decent shape 2) are active and actually enjoy life 3) are independent (please, I had 16 years of 10 phone calls a day asking me what I am up to, who I am with, where I am at etc... Not anymore. 4) can laugh, have fun, and not take everything so serious that you're miserable
