I can pretty much can get along with anyone as long as they shut up and let me talk :)Ha Ha! I have also learned the value of 'shuttin' my pie hole' when a certain someone is....er....."venting". Them thar woman-types don't always want us fellas to 'fix' things and don't always want to hear word of encouragement. As a wise man once said....."Yes Dear" :) ha ha

Being a curious explorer type of fella, I like to head out on the weekends and go get dirty and sweaty and do something adventurous and physical. I like to go to Westport and surf the waves in my kayak. Or going to Sequim and walking to the end of Dungeoness Spit and hitting Hurricane Ridge while I'm out there. Stuff like that. If you are not very active and in shape, you probably won't have fun with me, as I am always climbing, swimming ,jumping, running, diving, paddling etc.
I like to do relaxing things on weekends too, but whatever it may be, I like getting in the car and going somewhere. Actually I don't always need to go 'somewhere', I just like to go. Maybe my headline should have read "Curious Explorer Seeks Same". Not much of a house mouse. With a few exceptions.

I like to have, what is called a 'lost weekend'. It can be at home or preferrable at some type of getaway. Just me and my sweetie, not giving a care about nothin', no phone, no alarm, just prentending there ain't nothing out side. Like Jack Johnson's Song "Banana Pancakes". Give it a Listen.

I am the WAY OVER THE TOP romantic type. A dozen roses? PALEEZE! Call me Mr 6 dozen plus the mushy card to go with. I like doing nice things for those I care about. The best feeling is knowing someone you like or love, feels the same way about you. I like to remind them of the fact that 'hey, I care about you very much'.

I am a total spaz and guarantee I will either embarass you/ make you laugh your ass off/make you say "who the hell is this fool?" on a regular basis. I am a fella that is fun for all. I have alot of long term friends as proof I'm at least somewhat tolerable.

I like to hit the "Y" in the morning for about an hour and get a serious sweat on. Or go running at the waterfront, on some trail and hills, etc. I like to mix it up a bit so I won't get bored and start slacking. It also counteracts the 'buffing the chair with my ass' level of physical activity involved at work. After doing 1,000,000 sets of lat pulldowns in my life, it can get boring from time to time.This is to offset my frequent restauranting, which I enjoy. I really like the non chain type of places, I guess I'm a bit of a "foodie".

As far as values go, I guess in some ways I am a little old fashioned. Remember those day when divorces were rare? I want to take care of my family in the man-kind of ways that used to be commonplace. I think it is my job to provide for my family and protect them and make them feel safe at all times. I think when a woman HAS TO do some of the man duties because her man can't or won't, there is a problem and resentment that will result.
Our age group, for the most part, is screwing up in that department. How many friends do you know have been married over 10 years? See what I mean?
I am not too hardcore in what some people may think I mean here. A great book in regards to this is "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" By Dr Laura. She kind of rants a bit to fill pages, but the basic message is what I'm talking about. We Boys are simple creatures.
I also don't want to sound too serious here, I am also looking for some fun, too. Just want something to look forward to.

I also like to read and reseach to learn more about my work or my hobbies. A consummate student am I. I am also very immature in certain ways (by choice) and connect well with kids. I don't like sarcastic behaviour early in a relationship. I have found if you don't really know someone yet, you can't joke with them on as high a level as someone you know. Some people take it wrong and I don't want to hurt someone's feeling by some stupid misunderstanding ("But honey, I was just kidding" type of thing). I have learned this the hard way, as I am naturally a smart ass. ***update** * I changed my mind on this. If you can't tell the difference between joking and serious, well then, some things are't meant to be. This was more based off having a lame ex who had a big ol' stick shoved somewhere (ya know), making moutain out of molehills, etc.

P.S.- Skiing in the winter is mandatory. You also must like big strong
I truly enjoy cutting people off in the middle them talking, teaching my 5 year old nephew to be obnoxious so I can see his mother's (my sis) reaction, and doing a "Kramer"-going to friend's homes and check out their fridge before I say hello:)

I am a Mortgage Loan Officer. The part of my job I like is I have the opportunity to help people change their lives for the better in a big way. I just wish I could do my job from a white water raft or while I'm skiing. It's just a bit too desk-ie.
I still spend alot of time and money on my education every year. Things like seminars from leaders in my industry, the best copywriters and marketers of our time. I'm always looking to find a benefits for my customers.

Locally I like to go to Cafe Indochine, it is yummy. Jazz Alley is good when Bobby Caldwell is in town. Hit the slopes as much as possible. Shopping in downtown Seattle and little festival type things to Port Townsend is fun too. Skiing baby.
I love flip flops and am gonna put some serious effort to build a big flop collection. Gotta give good Thai food it's props; it make eating a ton of veggies so easy. Love old used books stores even if they smell funky. I am addicted to chap stick. Last read was a rate sheet so I can save my clients tons of money! I mainly read stuff about my hobbies or work; I like "how to" kinda stuff. I like reading the paper at the checkout stand that talks about Bat Boy, Elvis sightings, and other silly stuff.

That would depends on the weather and day of week. If it's nice weekend, heading out with the top down, wind in hair, sun on face, going to somewhere on the water or in the mountains that has some unique type of eating establishment and cool fun things to do and has some physical adventure in store as well. Maybe some quirky annual festival celebrating something random in some small town..."it's Geoduck Days again"...haha. Maybe some water jump in and a hill to climb.......Or a lame coffee shop drive-by haha
