I moved to Nashville a couple of years ago. I've made a few great friends but haven't quite hit my stride in the right group yet. Having said that, though I'm a social person, I tend to be the quiet one when out in social settings, observing before joining the conversation. Joking around helps me to break the ice and feel a person out, as humor is of great importance to me...if you can make me laugh, I'm yours!

I'm a passionate person. Music is a huge part of my life. I just love being surrounded by it and the energy of people who love it, and I recently picked up the guitar (I'm still working on the being good at it part). I love to cook and I love to eat. A great weekday night to me includes shooting pool with my girlfriends, cheap beer and buffalo wings. I enjoy being outside and can often be found at the dog park with my puppy. I'm sarcastic, fiercely independent and forthright.

I don't ask for much. I can take care of myself and I enjoy my own company, but I'm here because I also enjoy the company of others. I take people the way they are, and all I expect in return is the same. I'm a happy person and am most content in the presence of other happy people.

It's my belief that the activity on the first date doesn't matter nearly as much as the conversation and/or connection. In any event, though, coffee's always good, a stroll through downtown...maybe ending the evening catching some live music.
