Hi! My name is Chad. I'm a 24 years old slightly eccentric, but hopeless romantic/loveable goof. I'm painfully awkward (a bit shy) to meet at first, but I mean well!

I play guitar, occasionally keys, sing, and create lots of noise in a loud spastic melting pot of a band called Beer and Pretzels with three of my best friends. No, we're not "a bad bar band". Just four funny guys with a funny name. It confuses people. We like that. My Space search us if you like. Enough promotion. Ha.

I'm looking for a cute, down-to-earth, but equally wacky female member of the species. I like a wide variety of music and I occasionally sketch and draw. Aside from daily grunt work for a local furniture/appliance chain (I'm in the process of changing this), that's me in a nutshell. Not much to it!

In all seriousness (and I hate describing myself), I like to think of myself as kind, caring, hard-working, and willing to listen. I've been told I'm too nice for my own good. Meh. I know I'm not the most pleasing thing to look at, but I try to make up for that. Hahaha. I may be loud and forward (once I warm up, that is) but am a softy deep-down, and having someone to cuddle, watch movies, talk about nothing, be lazy with, walk around late at night...oh...that's good stuff. A friend AS WELL AS a mate. Yeah... good stuff. Ha. This may put a damper on things, but I'm not big on partying and the bar scene. Going out and getting plastered every weekend is just lame. Sorry.

What am I looking for? A sense of humor is a must! The more twisted, the better. Hmmm... Just be you! I won't change you. And you don't need to for me. Being musically/artistically inclined always scores bonus points...even if its just an appreciation for these things. It's kind of a package deal for me. Personality, looks (I don't mean to sound shallow, but I mean, we all search for this to a degree. Plus, I wouldn't be looking for just the model-esque either.) cohesiveness, etc, etc...the whole deal. Not just one thing, I'm trying to say...if that made sense. D-oh! Haha.

I'd rather for things not to go super-fast. Making a good friend first is more important to me than just breezing warp speed right into crazy love and sex and such. I just don't see any fun in that. I'm just old-fashioned, guess...and a little shy.

As much as I like spending lazy days in, I'm up for going anywhere. I love travel and being on the road. Beaches, parks, amusement parks, anything. Let's go!

I'm sure there's more. I've done enough rambling. Haha.

It's been ages since I've actually been on a "date". It doesn't have to be elaborate. I'd like to get to know her. A movie isn't always the best way to do that, but that's always nice. I'd try to be creative.
