I absolutely love a road trip and believe in the quotation that "it's not the destination but the journey". Some of my best memories have happened on the back roads of this country and the upper eastern states. If, at the end of the day I am where there are mountains, trees, a clear sky full of stars, a lake within view and the soft sound of crickets in air, I am at peace.

My favourite TV shows include CSI-NY, Criminal Minds, Lost, House and Grey's Anatomy. I read during my daily commute and always have a book in my bag. There is far too much music to narrow my like down to any particular genre although I can safely say that I am not a fan of Techno-Pop or Polka. My taste in movies is also something that I would have a hard time pinpointing. As long as the humour is edgy and intelligent and the blood is not the main prop, I will give a movie a shot. I follow the NFL throughout the season and am a die-hard New England Patriot fan.

Although like most people I like to dine out some of my best meals are those that I have made myself. I enjoy trying new recipes (nothing fancy, usually standard fare).

I am looking for a man with whom I can continue to enjoy life as I know it and with whom I can discover new things to thrill me - a companion to keep me company along the next stretch of my life. I would like to meet somebody who knows that being a couple does not necessarily mean always being together and that just because we are not together does not mean we are apart. I am independent and do not ask for much from anybody but I am more than willing to be pampered and spoiled.

My idea of a first "date" would be to meet downtown for a coffee to get to know one another. If there was a mutual interest this "date" could extend to a stroll, drinks or dinner and perhaps, if all went well, more dates in the future.
