So, once upon a time I was this fun guy... I'm still a fun guy I just come equipped with a diaper bag these days. I'm a divorced single dad, i'm a political consultant, i'm expressive, funny, lighthearted, always smiling and quick with a joke.

Anyways, I have a shockingly awsome three year old girl who dominates just about every spare second I can find. I dont really know all that many people here and I don't have any family around so I'm pretty much always occupied playing mr. mom.

I love to go out and see new places. I like going out and grabbing a few drinks but i don't get a whole lot of opportunity for that. I love to read,i enjoy going to the movies and all of the wacky festivals you guys have out here =) I like taking my daughter to the park or for a bike ride or for just a walk on the lakefront.

i've done some thinking. About what i want out of a relationship and all... I've come to the conclusion that what i most want is someone to share my family with (my daughter and I). So that is going to be number 1. My Ms Perfect will be not only capable of being a good parent, but want to be one as well. Don't get me wrong. I'm not looking for a new mom for my daughter but if you don't like kids and don't ever want any I can tell you right now that this just won't work. I'm not into the party scene. I'm a single dad and that more or less defines me. I love my daughter and enjoy being with her. I would love to one day expand our little family to include someone (or someones) but they would have to be right for me AND my daughter. I want someone who is sweet and loving. Caring and compassionate. Goofy yet capable of being an adult. I don't want a slave or a subordinate, i want a partner and a friend. In my age group that seems to be hard to come by, so i've kinda come to the conclusion that i have to start looking upwards. I love a woman who can banter, someone who is witty. I'll be honest, a few quips in a conversation and i sometimes find myself head over heels =)


No potheads or party girls. I like to go out and have a good time, but that isn't my life and i don't want it to be. I am very generous and i'll do anything to help someone... untill they take advantage of it. I may be a fool but i'm not stupid.

I know this is not romantic, but just getting coffee. Coffee and Alcohol are the two best beverages in the world for inspiring conversation. A first date with someone you've never met, or briefly met, should really be about getting to know someone. Who they are, what they like, what their goals are. That gives you a chance to decide if you want to go anywhere from there without all of the expectations of the typical first date.
