EDIT: Happy New Year!!! 2009!

Well, I've been on POF for a bit over 7 months or so, and I thought I'd update this profile for the new year. It has been an interesting time, have met some wonderful women, gave away bits of my heart only to be dashed, but, yeah it's worth it as the alternative will not get you anywhere you want to go. Looking for that one lady to fulfill all our dreams together.

Am trying to finish a major remodel of my "little" house in Eastgate, so I can back to some of my interests. Have a new Pool Room with Ping Pong and Darts, and a new studio for design ideas, and watercolor painting. soon to be sheetrocking. Also a great new master suite, and gourmet kitchen. I am a great cook and enjoy it immensely. Only hard to cook for just one. Grow my own garden and herbs in summer, and love my flowers and roses. Now, what else could a women ask for??????? I am trying.

ORIGINAL: Been single for a long time and searching for that special someone. someone close would be great but i do have a few vehicles to travel to find you. Own my home, and have my own business, that keep me pretty busy. Family is important to me and most of my immediate family is relatively local, so we see each other regularly. "Kids" are 32 and 29, with lives of their own. Pets, have none, but always did years ago.
Just turned 61 yrs old (may 20), but feel 40ish, and dad is a mere 90, so I have a long way to go. (Father passed away at 91 on May 25, 2009, so I will be a bit busy for awhile.)

Probably dinner out, or a show or movie, depending on what's good. Just attended (last summer now)Shakespear festival in Ashland, Oregon. MidSummers Night Dream. It was great. Now have tickets for "Wicked" in Seattle in September '09, so who gets to go with me??
And there's always golf. Just don't get to play often enough.
