Apparently according to POF I need to say more about myself so here goes:

1. I am currently deployed to Guantanamo Bay Cuba until 2010
2. I have been in the military 10 years
3. I also teach 7th Grade Language Arts when I am not deployed
4. My passion is photography
5. My newest hobby is scuba diving
6. My goal is to get a masters in photography and teach photography or continue to teach 7th Grade and start an after school program for photography at the nearest high school
7. My music tastes - My favorite band is Matchbox 20 - Other artists; Jim Croce, John Mayer, Joshua Radin
8. I am also a singer/songwriter
9. I am learning guitar (slowly lol)
10. I plan to travel to Europe when I return from Cuba

There is a lot more about me but you'll have to ask ;)

What I'm looking for in a significant other:

1. Loyalty - The will to work for a relationship instead of giving up if things get hard
2. Affectionate - I want to know that the person I'm with is interested in me (this doesn't mean making out in public, but holding hands a quick kiss now and then is nice)
3. Has her own goals - I like someone who wants to do something with her life
4. A sense of humor - I've found that it's so much easier to laugh through the hard stuff than dwell on the negative
5. Spontaneous - Someone who isn't afraid to just head out on a road trip one weekend just for the hell of it (or some other random off the wall thing)
6. Physically fit - I'm in the military so I keep in shape, I prefer to be with someone who takes care of herself (this doesn't mean Barbie doll it just means healthy)

**Just a heads up, I am not intimidated by bold women. Quite the contrary, I find it quite attractive when a woman knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say so. So don't be afraid to make the first move and message me first.** I look forward to hearing from you. ;)

I'm leaving this box open because first dates should be fun and not a fixed plan. Everyone is into different things why would I want to tie it down to some cliche idea of what a first date "should" be. It could be a romantic night on the beach, or a crazy thrill ride at the nearest amusement park. Lets decide when that time comes. ;)
