Unfortunately I have not got any definate ideas about what I hope to achieve from being here. I am a fairly easy going, honest kind of guy, pretty average in most departments, who is looking for friendships/dating or romance. I have been single now for just 14 months, but I have now reached the stage where I now wish to re-start dating. I know there are lots of very nice ladies out there because for 15 plus years I was very happily attached to one. So basically I figure, it is just the matter of looking.

Oooh.....Now thats a tough one. How does the average 40-50 year like to be dated these days I wonder. I could think on it, to be sure but I think that would probably be best dealt with by mutual consent, to be arrived at in the normal course of events. For me personally I would prefer to avoid anything that was too hectic and my actual preferences regarding dating include the following: Going to the cinema, going for a stroll in the country , going for a drink, going to the seaside, having a meal, or something a little more ambitious like a daytrip across the channel.
