About Me
An honest smile is a beautiful smile.
If I were a cookie and sarcasm, satire, and literalness were sweets, I would be absolutely scrumpish. I think colours are very wonderful things. I admit, though, I will wear brown shorts and black socks and shoes if not inspected before leaving the house. (= And, yes, I know the cookie comparison is terrible.
I'm a bit of a boring person; I'm always quiet and in the background. I give "yes" and "no" answers where I can, although I do expand on my opinion if I feel the need to. I have an industrial piercing, no tats yet, and the only cool scar I have is from where a cute girl bit my arm. I'm not really random, either. It's all a long chain of thoughts. If you send me a message, I'll check your page every day for... until I forget or something. I really love sunshine, but I'm a homebody. I don't like wearing long sleeves, unless it's a light jacket.
I'll hold the door open for you time to time, if not always.
I like books. I have a few books. Unfortunately, the only ones I've read are a Christian money book, a Christian dating book, and Jurassic Park. I like poetry, too. In fact, I like poetry so much, that I write some myself. I love listening to a song and hearing rhymes.
I like music. Alice Donut, an underground punk band, is my favourite band. I also like Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Bob Dylan, and Miles Davis. I own a bass guitar, and am in progress of becoming better at playing it. I'm not a stoner. Yes, I know I listen to Pink Floyd.
I enjoy riding my bicycle. You and I should ride around town one day, or go to a nice park and ride there. I currently have an Electra StreamRide based on the old cruiser bikes. I tend to ride my bike to work (it's a ten minute ride) instead of driving, if the weather permits. I don't loathe driving, nor am I a green freak, I just don't like driving in the city. Also, I hate driving in Houston without a guide. The past two times I've gone into Houston by myself, I've gotten lost and arrived at my destination an hour after I was supposed to.
I love tasteful humour. Even though I usually tell dry jokes, I will laugh at almost any joke that I get, no matter how corny or unfunny they are.
I don't have a lot of friends. I know a good amount of people, but I only consider a few of them friends. I have more girl friends than I do boy friends, because I think boys are stupid.
What am I looking in for a person? Good qualities, of course. I prefer "alternative" people over "normal" people, but I do realize that it is a person's thoughts and actions that make them who they are. So, to be more specific, I would like to meet someone who is, at the least, considerate and has a sense of humour. Physically, I prefer non-twigs.
Sometimes, I'll look at your profile but not send you a message. (I'm not sure if that's the norm.) It's probably because I don't know what to say. I'm a little shy and I don't carry an ice pick around.
What I'm not into... Smiles are great and everything, I don't like it when all your smiles look the same. It reminds me of dolls. Everybody knows that dolls are creepy.
P.S. I'm not really a communist, and I love Jurassic Park. The book is one of my favourite books.
First Date
Most definitely nothing to do with movies. Unless the movie is RHPS or 2001: A Space Odyssey.
PibbSissi has 2 roses that can be sent.
