I’m not expecting to find the love of my life on POF, so I've decided to change what "I am seeking" Instead of "Long-term," I am now in search of a nice and lovely, female “friend.” I was married for almost 10yrs and I was in the Air Force for eight of those years. Neither of these things were conducive to developing quality friendships. Most of my co-workers were single males that were crude and immature. My ex-wife did not want me hanging out with them, so I was pretty much a family man. I committed myself to marriage at the early age of 21 and my life has been mostly work(including college), with very little play. At this point, I am still working a lot, but it is very enjoyable and I am passionate about it. My profession is rigorous and requires a vast amount of discipline. What this translates into is that I want to experience a little bit of excitement…I’m very ready to begin playing, enjoying my free-time and being with someone who warms my heart and makes me smile. This ideal person would be innately considerate, affectionate and giving. Communication is paramount; she should be able to express herself without hesitation and be mature enough to talk things through. My ideal woman is someone who is emotionally present and empathetic; someone who lives beyond the superficial. The kind of woman I seek is someone who lives in the moment and takes in the present for everything it is worth. I enjoy spending time outdoors and trying new things.
