Starting out,
learning to swim...

on PoF, that is. I'm sort of a man with a porpoise.

Frankly, I'm not sure what I want in my life at the moment. I'd love to tell you all the things you want to hear. I'd love to mean every word. But we both know that real life is messy. Dirty, messy, complicated, annoying, and sometimes fun. (I like the fun parts more than the rest.) I know I want something long term. I know it involves loyalty, trust, brains and beauty. But wait, that's me. So she better at least bring a sense of humor. Operating word here: "she".

I am a poppa. Two kids, grownish, but still a large part of my life. While I might leave the state for a week here or there, when I get home, they're still there. While it theoretically could change on any given day, it doesn't look like that's happening this year.

Have two cats: 14 and 7ish years old. Someone's trying to talk me into a black lab, but I've said no... so far. Just don't have the yard, but its a very sweet and well trained animal.

I like to do a lot of things, but I'm not complicated. Give me good food, good sex, good fun, and I'll be your best friend forever. Take those away and I'll be in varying stages of grumbling.

I'm a bit rusty emotionally speaking. Somewhere between life and right now, I put myself away wet and things got rusty. Don't think it makes me a bad person, But if you ask me an honest question, I may be a bit blunt. Honest, I'd like to be coy, but I can't remember how. From time to time, I'm sensory depraved. I need touch. Most of the time, I'm a pretty good guy, but sometimes, I just need to feel the skin of another person. Hand or arm. Maybe that's touchy feely or maybe just depraved. Not really sure I understand it either, but it has to be someone I trust, or at least believe I can trust.

Finally, keeping things in context keeps us sane. Most of us just need a buddy to put the world in perspective. I'm looking my buddy to drink this world in with and see what's real and what's important. So bring your shot glass and sense of humor and we just might be able to crack this planet. *** NOTE: No alcohol was used in the production of this profile (sadly) ***

Some place quiet. A coffee shop or maybe a lounge with quiet music. Some place where we have a bit of privacy to talk, but enough freedom to move around. For 20 minutes or more if its fun.
