| | I have recently moved back to the Bay Area, which has been my home for about 20 years before I ventured into pre-medicine and then medicine. At this junction I desired to be closer to home in order to commit my time to preparing for my MD licensing exam. The expected social scenario for me is that most if not all of my closest friends have also departed from the area and I find myself attempting to meet new people in my home town.
Therefore I am here trying to invigorate friendship by meeting a person who has great personal qualities which include kindness, understanding, care, a conversationalist, positivity, optimism, patience, inspiration, and above all else someone genuinely from the heart.
I sincerely believe that friendship is the foundation of the building of any relationship, the fertile soil on which beauty can sprout. For this reason I would like to meet someone who is most interested in establishing a bond through friendship which can be nurtured to a higher plateau in the future. My intention is to have a prolonged period of learning and inquiry to build a friendship.
In my opinion this form of bonding is healthy for the mind, body, and spirit. It is often subjected by the more blatant intimate yearnings, which I deem to be an error in the pursuit of progress. To truly absorb another takes spirit more than mind, and mind more than body.
I am fully aware that not all people desire the same friendship approach and would rather delve into dating, but that would not be for me. So if you are interested in this philosophy of life, I would welcome your acquaintance.
I like to do a variety of things that I will elaborate on once I get to know someone. You may email me and find out. I am truly a physician and so I am interested in all things that relate to health, wealth and happiness.

I was born in Northern California but also lived in Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, New York, and India.

English is my first and best language, followed by Gujarati and Hindi, but I am also quite proficient in Spanish, having spent 6 years studying it.
favorite foods:
I am a true restaurant aficionado. I enjoy venturing out and sampling various international cuisines. At the same instance, often time there is nothing better than a good ol' American meal.
my politics:
I am quite apolitical. I have my own perspective and vantage point through which I view and envision the world, I suppose.
culture:
I partake in anything that is enjoyable or enriching. I grew up in the hip hop culture so that would have to remain my first and best cultural aspect. That along with Native American, Japanese, and Indian forms of perceiving the world, are most appealing to me. Of the latter set, I would particularly highlight Toltec, Zen, and Yoga as being quite influential in my life. In regards to hip hop, I am more inclined towards positive and uplifting forms vs the popular.
my day:
Currently I am preparing for my licensing exam which I have been focusing on consistently for several months. My day generally includes a multitude of hours reading and testing. That leads to a situation where there is very little leisurely time. I would like to spend that leisurely time with someone who is possibly you! hehe |
