I am a stable, strong, well educated, good humored, and generally happy person. I am not lonely but I do want someone special in my life. I have not dated in the past year by choice because I wanted to get the rest of my life settled first after a divorce. Now I am ready to meet the world again. I own my single family home, have a great career and a very young wonderful daughter. She and I are entertained and protected by two big sweet mutts. I also have a cat someone just gave me. I tend to take in strays because I am a softy (animals only no people apply please).

At the risk of sounding negative I feel I need to be clear with some of my expectations for a compatable person. Please live in the area to me. I am looking for a decent guy who is employed(just so he can take care of himself), does not have any felonies past or present. I am not interested in anyone who is actively an addict or a recovering addict. I feel I have a great life and want to keep moving forward in that direction. Sorry if I have offended anyone. I have a great job and a wonderful home life. I tend to live a low maintenance existence because I am so busy. I just try to always look my best for myself and if that works for others all the better. Always smiling my way through life, people tell me I have a happiness problem. Yes, I find most if not everything has some humor in it. I get great satisfaction in being self sufficiant but boy would it be nice to have some help once in a while. What you see is what you get with me.

Something casual. I like to get to know the person. Let's just keep it light and fun. Diet Pepsi is my drink of choice. Maybe an occasional glass of wine but I tend to not be much of a drinker.
