just want to talk. i like conversation about history, literature, pop culture, music, politics, blahblahblah. i have a rapier's sarcastic wit, finding humor in everything, which sometimes gets me into trouble.

I'll just describe my perfect date. It was mid November and we were in Chicago. We decided to take a detour to the Brookfield Zoo on our way back to Champaign. It was sorta chilly and sunny when we got there, but its a zoo: you cant go wrong! We spent the afternoon walking around looking at animals, holding hands, laughing and talking about things that made us happy as individuals and as a couple. I bought her lunch and when we left the building, it had started to snow a little. Off to the east, beyond the ridge of the snow clouds, the sun was setting. It was PERFECT to be there on the cusp of winter with someone i adored in the muted light of the sunset with flurries swirling around her face. After we left there, she introduced me to a place called J&J's Fish and Chicken: DROOL!!! that stuff was AWESOME. It was sweet and it was simple; honestly, words cant begin to describe any part of that day to any accurate depth.
