Dislike: 35 knots of wind if sails haven't been reefed properly

Like: Boating, sailing - all water related activities.
Dislike: A guy that thinks I just typed I want a dude with a boat.

Spent 6 years sailing from New England to Venezuela; delivered 90' Jongert to Panama Canal, yadda, yadda.

Sounds exciting - jury was "hung".

Like: Folks w/ a great sense of humour (especially Brit humour)
Dislike: Having to repeat a great punch line

Like: Ability to converse about current events, politics and life in general
Dislike: Having to explain who ACORN, B. Frank, Pelosi and Rev. Wright are

Like: Grisham, Patterson, Clancy, Hawkins, and more
Dislike: Having to explain they are not Generals of the United States Military

Like: I am trying to do 'blue' jobs (wrench vs screwdriver; mascara as needed)
Dislike: I'm single handedly hurting our economy by not hiring folks to help me

Like: Knowing when it's time to give up doing blue jobs myself and ask for help
Dislike: Finding out the job costs 3 x's more because of my errors (Jeesh!)

Like: Researching the next, best vacation spot. Tobago, Trinidad or CO, USA
Dislike: Having to explain to a travel agent that Tobago is part of Trinidad

Love: The 265G salt water coral reef tank in my family room / way to cool!
Dislike: That I missed the day my 8th grade science class teacher was teaching reverse osmosis, calcium reactors, lefty lucy / righty tighty and other stuff that applies to the tank (hey - it was the 70's / I was busy focusing on other stuff). Don't ask, don't tell!

Ahhhh - it's all good.

My friends / family chastise me for using the internet to meet 'him'. They say I should not mention the ability to read, write, research and do arithmatic.

They say I should solely mention that I 'love life and like the beach and sun'.

Okay here goes - I love life, beach & fun in the sun.

Brunch is best. Great way to chat and enjoy the morning.

Starbucks is out as $ 4.00 for coffee makes no sense when we can brew it at home later.

Not thrilled with drinks on the first date. This would be tacky during brunch.

2nd date will be something even more fun than enjoying a leisurely breakfast - we can decide over brunch.

How about something neither one of us has seen or done - that's how friendships grow.
