Hello! I personally find it difficult to summarize myself and define who I am and what I am looking for by a simple profile but I will attempt to do my best. First, I LOVE life! Recently, some events have occured in my life that have really reinforced that truth to me. I LOVE to laugh and am the first one to laugh at myself or giggle at a joke. Second, I LOVE & ADORE my children. I have found motherhood to be such a wonderful experience and wouldn't trade my experiences with the priviledge of parenthood for anything. Third, I think I am also defined by my chosen profession of an intensive care nurse.
If asked to describe myself, I'd say I am loyal and a great mother, friend, and lover. I am very affectionate and enjoy showering attention on those whom I care about. I have a soft place in my heart for animals and those less fortunate. I have a tendency to put everyone else first and sometimes forget about myself. I can shop with the girls or talk sports with the guys. A perfect evening for me would be spending it with my special someone doing nothing in particular..as long as we are doing it together! Grilling, dinner, a night on the town, a quiet night at home, a walk on the beach- all of those things sound wonderful to me.
With two of my three children grown and starting their own lives, I find I actually may have time for hobbies and things I want to do! I love the outdoors and would LOVE to learn to do so many things- ski, scuba dive, camp, fish, plant a garden, or simply just sit outside and enjoy the Florida weather. I am equally comfortable to dress up and go to dinner and a movie as I am to sit at home in a comfy pair of jeans or sweatpants and a t-shirt and watch a movie or sports. I very much enjoy football and watching my Miami Dolphins play.I would enjoy having someone to watch sports with, whether it be by ourselves, with friends, or go to an actual game.
To be honest, I am looking for someone to be friends with, to laugh with, and to go out with. I think a friendship is the foundation of a successful relationship. Best of luck in your search and perhaps I will hear from you soon! Have a great day!
First Date
I would have to say the first date choice would depend upon the person and our shared interests. Each person is unique so I would want to go somewhere we mutually agree to, whether it be coffee, dinner, the beach, an amusement park, or a sports game, the sky's the limit!
