My name is David. I like meeting new people and trying new things. I just moved to the area and I don't know many people yet. I laugh at inappropriate things, take the path less travelled whenever I can, I run in rain, I spend a lot of time in parks, and I always want to try small, unknown restaurants.

I like to read and write a lot. I love photography. I like music and going to live shows. I exercise often. I like to travel and I have been to many places including Norway, England, Italy, Ghana, Germany, Czech Republic...

I like noise-filled dive bars, quiet coffee shops, used record stores. I think that any place can be a good time with the right company. I have always wanted to go to Egypt.

I love ethnic foods. I don't watch much TV but I do watch Lost and I was very upset when Arrested Development was canceled. I think animals are great and I dislike when people don't take care of their pets.

On a first date it is important to be able to talk. The dinner and a movie thing is nice, but you can't get to know someone watching a movie. Maybe dinner and a drink afterwards, or something more original like a picnic in the park, mini-golf, or maybe a museum or festival.
