About Me
Submitted for your approval, one MikeZt. He is real, he has flesh and blood, muscle and intellect. At age 53 he is about to enter a zone where a thin line separates that which we assume to be real from that manufactured inside of someone's mind; it is the middle ground between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his dreams...that's the sign post up ahead, the next stop: the POF zone.
I love togetherness and adore women, however you won't find me to be clingy or needy. Bright, straight forward, calm, and definitely not a game player. Honest, sensitive, aware. but definitely not boring. I'm loyal, affectionate, monogamous and value my family and friendships. I'm growth oriented and like to learn and experience new things.
I have eclectic interests from cooking to music (took up classical guitar five years ago). I'd rather spend time with a few good friends than around large crowds. I stay in shape by weight lifting, biking, hiking and train spotting. However, I also enjoy lazy intimate evenings at home. My humor leans toward Monty Python (something completely different) and Paul Hogan (strewth!). I lean to the left and hope you do also. I have 4 nieces and nephews that grew up with me so I like children and get along with them well, but at this stage in my life I don't want to have any of my own but am open to someone who already has kids. And yes I do have a car, O.K. so it's up on blocks next to my trailer home, but Bubba assures me he'll have it running soon, ifin he can avoid the revenuers.
I'm looking for someone interested in the long haul (including marriage, yes the "M" word!!!!). Someone independent, but interested in sharing their life. She should share some of my interests, but have some of her own (I'm willing to give on the train spotting). Kindness, honesty, intelligence, stability and humor are very important to me.
I want to end up like my parents, 87 and 90 and still very much in love.
Favorite quotes:
"Where the world ceases to be the scene of our personal hopes and wishes, where we face it as free beings admiring, asking and observing, where what we see cannot be described, but is intuitively recognized as meaningful, there we enter the realm of Art and Science."
"No man or woman is worth your tears and the only one who is, will never make you cry."
Can you guess who said them?
