Hello, I'm a person who enjoys humor in a conversation and a good joke. I enjoy stand-up comedy, political satire, and funny movies. On the serious side, I like NPR News on my car radio, and I like to read some weekly news magazines and the occasional novel when I have time. John Grisham, Dave Barry, Jean Shepard and Sue Grafton are some of my favorite authors. For music I like old rock & roll, Smooth Jazz, some classical, some New Age, and a smattering of other stuff, including an assortment of vocalists. My daughter likes to watch Animal Planet, and the History Channel on TV, so we enjoy that together. If I want to watch some news I have to wrestle the remote from her. Spending time with my daughter is probably one of the most satisfying things I do at this point in my life. I may be in my fifties, but I’m about 35 to 40 in the parenting scheme of things, and I feel that young too! While I feel fortunate to have such a good relationship with my daughter, I do balance that time with the time I invest in any relationship I build with a woman I meet. So, what else do I like to do? Here’s a few things - bicycling, museums, photography, cooking, theater/movies, home handyman projects, day trips to NYC/Boston.

Could be anything -- a meeting over coffee, a drink after work, lunch somewhere, or a nice dinner, as long as we can have a good conversation and learn a little about each other.
