Let us keep this brief. I'm kind of a weird guy. Weird fun, not weird creepy. When I push up my glasses it makes me feel like I'm ready to fight (I'm trying to see better). That sort of weird.

I am a man who is obsessed with the art of storytelling. I am gravely offended by those who cannot tell their own stories, and I have made it my life long work to tell stories as they should be told. I read a lot. I watch movies like they are going to burn the celluloid after two weeks. I enjoy comic books and video games and I am highly passionate about both, but I also recognize the importance of daily showering. I am not ashamed of my love for my subcultures, though I agree, some nerds are just scary.

Music always tells a story, and I have found that it tells different stories to different people. Music for me takes me through past, present and future, so I listen to it constantly. Current favorites would have to be Arcade Fire and...Mika. That may as well sum up my musical tastes. Oh, and I've also air-guitared to Knights of Cydonia once. Again, weird.

I like to find the strangeness in the mundane. It is my goal in life to find any way of sharing that, whether it is writing stories or sharing them with an audience.

As for what I'm looking for... hard to say. Some would agree that interaction is key; interests should be similar, yes, but ultimately what I'm looking for is found in the words unspoken. Sharing the same goal but not always knowing what that is. Life is a crazy journey and I'm just looking for someone to ride shotgun.

First dates are hard, because there seems to be a lot of pressure. I would keep the first date simple. A casual meet. Dinner, yes. Movie? Movies make it difficult to talk, and the only way to get to know someone is to...talk. A good first date should be a simple exploration, through conversation and shopping malls (or some equivalent? I'm a very suburban guy at times).

But most importantly, I would look for any way to have fun. Because that is what it is all about. Forget the routine, let's just have fun.
