Greetings...

Born in the days before statehood, I am an Alaskan by birth. First child of my Confederate Mother, and Yankee Father, they chose the name Robert.

The man I became, grew to be tender, attentive, sentimental, and unafraid to display deep emotion. Openly affectionate, the holding of hands, lingering kisses, or a warm embrace, are to me an exquisite natural narcotic. Romantic charm, spontaneity, & playful mischief, are a part of me. Unpretentious, Life is mostly viewed with " irreverent humor". A spirit of adventure is my trademark. The outdoors is my "cathedral". Let's canoe in a lazy lagoon, or savour a mountain meadow in springtime. Or, how about a flea market, antique show, or visit any place historical... Being a "barnacle" on a TV screen is not my idea of leisure.

I love AMERICA, and have been in 36 of the 50 states. I am comfortable in social settings, and with those who drink responsibly. My primary career was in aviation, but no longer fly.


An energetic worker with a variety of hand skills, building or repairing most things comes easy. Restoring vehicles, Ebay sales, managing my Step-Sisters rentals, and SS, keeps me alive. I enjoy someone to do things for, and be company with... Perfect matches may be few, but "perfected compromise" (my term) is achievable. I appreciate a woman with a little grit, and also appreciate degrees of refinement... Strong women are respected. I love a whimsical spirit, and a woman who knows who she is, and can express what she wants. ( I have a rich intuition, but don't read minds, so ya gotta sometimes explain yourself!)

I am a "one woman" kind of guy, and find limited reward in serial dating. Emotionally available, there are no lingering relationship hang-ups. If we create an "electric" experience together, I can become fully involved, without fear of electrocution!
