About Me
I am not looking for someone to complete my life, I am looking for someone to complement it. I have been very fortunate. Although I have had my bumps in the road, as we all do, I've been able to grow and learn much from them. I'm a happy and upbeat person, but there is still something missing from my life. I'm looking for a friend first... someone to talk to, laugh with, explore with, kayak, go to comedy shows, movies, flea markets, antique shows, museums... someone I can share opinions with, learn from, learn together, travel together. In my ideal world, the rest flows from there.
I am very monogamous, loyal to the core, honest, independent, curious, intelligent, present moment mindful, caring, adventurous, love to travel, and have a good sense of humor. I have many wonderful friends but find there is still something missing.
My perfect match would be a man who is comfortable with himself, non-judgemental, honest, loyal, intelligent, adventurous, curious, happy, secure, and independent. I really don't care about whether or not you have hair on the top of your head (or anywhere on your head for that matter!), have eyes the same color or have ocean-front property on Jupiter Island. I would like someone who is independent enough and financially secure enough to pay their own bills (!) and their half of a vacation. At the same time, I'm not looking for someone to pay mine.
I want to find a down-to-earth kind person to share time with... if it grows into an intimate, long-term relationship that would be wonderful. I'd like to get to know someone as a friend first and go from there.
First Date
My preference would be to exchange some emails/IMs then, when you discover how much you enjoy corresponding with me (!), progress to some telephone conversations. Then, when you just can't stand another day without meeting me in person, we can arrange to meet at a place we both agree on. Preferably somewhere we don't need megaphones to hear each other talk. If you would prefer meeting at the motel down the street which rents rooms by the hour, you need to keep looking. Good communication and some good laughs are important.
