UPDATE:::::: so, a lot of people view profiles, and I'll admit I do the same - but then there is no contact. You don't send me a message, I don't send you a message. Is there just no interest or are we all a little hesitant to break the ice? Even though we're on the same site, hopefully looking for the same thing?

Just in case its just the hesitancy thing - how about an icebreaker request.... please tell me about one of your favorite days ever.




Wow - I'm terrible at filling out a profile like this. I'm a fairly casual, friendly person. I have a busy life, but would love to find someone to share it with. I enjoy going to Gator athletic events - and not just the big money sports. I like being in or around the water, but at the same time enjoy staying in just as much. My interests are as varied as the world is wide, I believe. I am a good-natured happy person and would like to find someone who is like-minded to spend some time with.

When I care for someone, I do so completely and unconditionally. I tend to look for the positives in a person and in life. I am very affectionate and always do my best to support and encourage my friends or my man in any circumstance. I like to make that special person in my life always feel respected, cared for, and like he's the most wonderful man in the world. I'm a good listener and a great friend. I think I"m a lot of fun to be with, kind of get that feedback from my friends as well. I love to sing karaoke, and I promise if we were to go do that, you wouldn't be hiding your face or wishing you were underneath the table when its my turn to sing. In fact, I'm going to be singing in a karaoke contest benefitting Lyrics For Life very soon.

I very compassionate, almost to the point of being way too tender-hearted. I sometimes come across as a little too strong or reserved, but deep down, if you hurt, I hurt. I can't watch anyone cry - omg - I have to look away. But if someone is in need - I"m there. I don't believe in making new year's reservations but do take the opportunity at the end of one year and the beginning of the next to reflect and see what I can do to make myself a better person. My decision this year is to support the troops. So far its going very well and I have gotten several co-workers to join in as well.

Financially I'm secure, I'm definitely not looking for a meal ticket although dinner out is always nice. I'm secure enough to go to a restaurant by myself but would really rather find someone to dine with. I'm a pretty good cook and love preparing and serving food for other people. I'm employed full time as a secretary at a place that I LOVE. I am also a house mother at a fraternity. I love living and working with college students and believe that it keeps me feeling, if not acting, young.

With all that being said now, I would love to find someone a little closer to my own age to spend time with. If I've piqued your interest in the least, please feel free to contact me. I will reply to any contacts I receive - I am a little shy about making first contact however.

I think a great first date or meeting would be something along the lines of walking around a flea market, or going to a small town festival. Anything too intimate or one-on-one is just a little nerve-wracking. All that who are you, who am I small talk is difficult for me with a brand new person. I think we can get to know each other by watching each other in a more open social situation. What makes you smile, what draws your interest, what you would bring into your life, I think those things can be shown a lot easier than just specified verbally.
