I have recently met someone the conventional way, but I remain here to enjoy correspondence and the forums...

I'm pretty big on the manners and consideration part of things... I find myself gettin' pretty pissed when I take the time to write something unique to someone who doesn't even have the couth to acknowledge me when I write you an email. If I'm not for you, hey- cool. I have women write me who I'm not interested in being involved with, but I still write them back and acknowledge that they took the time and effort to reach out to ME! And, I've never had to outright say, "I'm not interested". Dang, just write me back and babble about the weather, or how much of a beeyatch traffic was when you took the kids to work this morning. We all know if there's chemistry, or not. Extend the courtesy to your fellow people when they reach out to you...


I'm a gregarious and fun-loving guy who has worked on the road for almost two decades and finally brought it home! I've just updated and added more detail to my profile as things have solidified for me in career terms and where I am ultimately headed.

I like to smooch at the kitchen sink in the morning while coffee's brewing, bum around with my partner when time permits, accomplish mutual goals when bumming around isn't a priority. I don't mind waiting for you to shop or do things that are important to you on a personal level, as there'll be times when I need you to take an extra minute or two for me somewhere. I believe in give and take, fairness, and equality. Stopping to smell the roses is good, but somebody has to tend the rosegarden, and I think it's more rewarding to do it together than alone... You think?

I like weekends at music festivals, or hittin' the road for a ride or a weekend event. Yes, it's a Harley! 2004 TourGlide Classic, well maintained and always in safe, roadworthy condition.

I play guitar and bass, including upright, or bass fiddle- whatever you like to call it- So, that's to say that I play those instruments proficiently in their acoustic AND electric incarnations in a variety of genres, although I grew up playing bluegrass and related acoustic music. Hence, I love the weekend festival/performance thing. Gimme a stage-call and an excuse to go, and I'm on it!

As a footnote, I will say that though I spent my life driving truck from coast to coast, among the reasons for my choice to change careers is the ever more negative image the industry has today. I have never engaged in some of the behaviors that have earned drivers a less than savory reputation or endangered my health and wellbeing. Smoking cigarettes and drinking a few beers on a night off, yes, but never any drugs or skanky lot-lizards, lol. I hope this clarifies my quality of character for anyone who has reason to believe that a truck-drivin' man can't have principles and self-respect.

420 is okay with me- I am a musician, therefore I will not lie- Just not a regular thing for me, but GREAT with coffee on a weekend morning, before brunch, lol...





Find the guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who will lie with you under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the one who will kiss your forehead, who holds your hand in front of his friends, and who thinks you are just as pretty without make-up on. Wait for the one who often reminds you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have you. The one who turns to his friends and says, "Thats her."

Aw, shux... If you've read this far, you already noticed that I'm not lookin'... But, I thought I'd leave this part intact after editing the previous portion, so some of you would know what I enjoy, and understand my involvement in the forums and the absolute fun I have with my pretty woman who'll ride a poker-run in the rain without complaint, and then ask if it's the last stop with a cute lil' pouty grin...


Would love to go and eat something we both like, or have an interest in discovering together, then maybe take in a live show somewhere agreeable with enough time between dinner and the show, between the acts or sets to maintain our momentum...

I'll take your hand and we'll cut a swath wide enough for an army of us! Something gently invigorating after we've shared a meal and conversation, yet nothing so loud as to disengage our focus or impede our flow... Something just right... I don't mind if you tell me what you'd like to enjoy together. Communication is essential. Let's just have fun!

Poker runs, music festivals(be ready to camp or at least hotel it- these things are weekend events and I frequently get my arm bent to play a series of shows with someone who's short a musician...) If the weather's cool, It'll be extra fun!!!
