Hi and thanks for looking at my profile. Well what to say.... I just moved to Athens for work from up north and quite honestly I don't know a soul so I'm looking to meet a few new faces.

First and foremost I am a gentleman. I'm a bit shy at times. I am very intelligent, and love to be romantic. I'm not a male model, and I'm nowhere near being perfect, but really who is? I find that quirky imperfection is the definition of perfect to me anyway. I've heard it once said that its the similarities that make you like someone, and the differences that make you fall in love. I'd like to think that's true because honestly who wants to date themselves right?

A little about me:

I am a blues and jazz musician, I love the arts in general, and I really enjoy photography and learning something new. I do have a crazy sense of humor...very sarcastic and witty. I spent alot of time playing music in clubs and bars in my younger years, so I'm not really into the whole bar scene. Its nice to stop in and have a few laughs and drinks with friends but hanging out in them isn't me. I love to chill out and have a great conversation, take in a good movie, or spend time outside. A few years ago I started kayaking, and absolutely love it.

I hate game playing, we're all too old to be acting like we're in high school aren't we? I do not play those games and don't have any tolerance for those who play them.

I know this is way too short and kind of meanders, but as we all know there is no way I could ever write down all the things that make me *me*. Well I like to go somewhere quiet so we can get to know eachother... Something simple like over coffee, or something like a nice museum or something fun. It's important to me though that we do something that she likes to do. Although there's never a clear-cut recipe for a first date, I want to make it memorable but even the simplest date can be memerable with the right person. Whatever it is, as the saying goes "It's not what you do but who you do it with".
