My Self-Summary:
I like to just hang out with friends (be it at a party, festival, or just sittin around watching tv and talking), watch a movie, jam with my band, listen to music (like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, The Used, My Chemical Romance, Weezer, Blink182, Maroon 5, Nirvana, Lifehouse, New Found Glory,The Calling, Johnny Lang, Green Day, Hanson, The Doors, Coheed and Cambria, System of a Down, Pearl Jam, Counting Crows, Eminem, Foo Fighters, Taking Back Sunday, Papa Roach, Gavin DeGraw, Plain White T's, Metrostation, The Spill Canvas and Incubus to name a few, as you can probably tell I'm really into the pop/rock mainstream scene. Music is a huge part of my life and a deep love of mine. I enjoy going to the gym and working out, staying active and in good shape is very important to me, I did the whole karate/jujitsu/judo/aikido/baseball thing for a while when I was younger so now I do the machines and weights, good times. Keep it sizzlin, lol. I like to try to skateboard (ha I can't). I like people who aren't jaded, can communicate and are a little bit of an outcast/rebel in 1 form or another. I don't like being pushed away. I don't enjoy talking politics. I'm not a gamer however if you put in crash bandicoot warped and hand me a controller I'll be on there for a while. I don't have a perfect family life or a lot of money. Besides music I am also interested in all aspects of the arts like drawing, acting, writing, dancing, martial arts, etc. I'm interested in learning and doing more arts related stuff. I wish I was more handy, I enjoyed shop and auto in high school but I don't think I retained much of it. Actually, I don't think I retained a lot of stuff I learned in high school cause a lot of it just isn't practical. However, I made high honor role all the time and I graduated 4th in my class of 299. Go figure.

What I’m doing with my life:
I'm a music teacher :o). I teach general music in 3 elementary schools and I also teach private drum lessons. I graduated college with a Bachelors of Music. I started playing percussion in fourth grade and since then have been tinkering with other instruments. I enjoy playing guitar and singing rock songs as well as drumming. The two bands pop/rock bands I've actually help founded and recorded with are Frankenstein's Alibi and Falling Stars. I've been in and out of lots of rock bands since high school and I've recorded 4 professional albums thus far , the latest being my first solo album that was released February 2009. I like to write my own tunes. I also drum professionally for musicals. I've always just wanted an occupation I could enjoy doing for the rest of my life. I knew since pre-k music was where I was headed. I'd love to wind up being a rock star. We'll see how things go.

I’m really good at:
Listening. And getting to places on time for the most part, lol. Umm... I guess drumming too cause I made it into a really good college and that's what I've really been doing all my life, but I know there is SSSOOOOOOOOO much more to learn. That's what's great about percussion, you can never get bored with it, too much stuff to bang on and shake and what have you.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me:
The blue eyes and the tear drop birth mark. I can come off pretty shy sometimes but I'm a real goofball if you get to know me. Also, I don't dress "girly". I don't do the whole baby-doll tank top stuff and I'll only wear dresses or skirts for veeeeeerrrrrry very special occasions. Its not that I'm insecure about my body or anything, on the contrary I'm very aware and proud of my good shape, its really just that I like being comfortable and that I'm more interested in spending my time with someone who isn't shallow and wants to get to know me for me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food:
my favorite books: the count of monte cristo, catcher in the rye, the client, sleepers, falling up (silly poetry book, shel silverstein), tom sawyer, huckleberry finn, slaughterhouse 5.
movies: anything with brad renfro in it (RIP angel) such as tom and huck and the client. i like batman begins, a lot like love, just married (i heart ashton kutcher), anger management, nightmare before xmas, seed of chucky (hilarious!) mm.. stuff like that. i tend to like comedies the most but i can appreciate a good horror scare, especially if i'm with someone.

The six things I could never do without:
my friends
my mom
music
love
my glasses (i only wear them to see music and drive and stuff)
drum sticks

I spend a lot of time thinking about:
my future...

i want a new boyfriend very much, some1 sexy and supportive and who will love me for me, broken bits and all (and who will hopefully help me fix them), but i'm finding that its hard to find a guy that actually says what they mean and feel and who's willing to compromise and be there for you through it all.

On a typical Friday night I am:
hanging out with a friend or two somewhere.
