Likes... athletic adventures such as hiking vertical peaks, biking, running, skiing.

Dis-Likes.... smoke and smokers, liars and lying, woman who let the ex supply their lifestyle, men who supply an ex's lifestyle, drama, lazy people and watching sports on TV, history and museums.

I am an upfront, honest, fiancially secure and fit gal. I would seek the same in a man. I have traveled extensively and have lived in several different states. I appreciate someone who has traveled and experienced. I am close to my family in heart, although not in geographic distance. I am a do-er and not a watcher.
If I meet someone for friendship that is great but, I have learned a little about myself from failures on POF.

For me to desire a LTR with someone, I need someone who listens. Both listen to my stories (I love to tell) and listen to my likes and dislikes. (geez maybe everybody likes that).

I have analyzed why the US divorce rate is so high. I believe it is because men and woman fall in “love” with incompatible people. If more people would look at common goals, interests and lifestyles we would prevent many of the divorces. Someone doesn’t change later in life especially someone in their 40’s.

That said, I am only interested in someone with common goals, interests and lifestyle. Why waste time and perhaps fall in love with someone who doesn’t meet those simple criteria? That would only end in heartache because we were incompatible.

So, I seek someone with an active and athletic lifestyle, who doesn’t have children, doesn’t support an ex and/or her children, someone well traveled, someone ready to enjoy each other in a fun filled active life. Someone without drama in their life. Someone who isn’t still trying to “make it”. Someone who can laugh at the daily stupid things we do.

I think a first date is a great time to talk. New stories and lots to talk about. A perfect first date is for the man to decide a restaurant for dinner, wine and conversation to get to know one another. This isn't for the meet and greet, it asks about a first date. The meet and greet is anything in a public place from a glass of wine to a lunch.
