I was born and raised here in Orange County but spent time living in Oregon (college), Oklahoma (graduate school) and Greece (pro volleyball team). I work in Sales and also coach volleyball. When not working or coaching, I like to read, go to the beach, go to concerts (The Killers and U2 coming up!!), travel, go to Borders, do volunteer work (primarily with my Little Sister from Big Brothers/Big Sisters)and play tennis. Can't live without music. My favorites are U2 and The Killers. But also near the top of the list are Airborne Toxic Event, Pulp, Roxy Music, Anthony Hamilton, The Gaslight Anthem, The XX, Sade, Black Eyed Peas, Def Lepard, Donovan Frankenreiter,Panic At The Disco and of course, almost all 80s music. Some fun facts about me: My favorite US city is Savannah, I am addicted to Europe--especially Portugal, I hate seafood, I am scared of heights, was named Big Sister of the Year (2009) for the state of California (probably the most honored and humbled I have felt), I like to play Scrabble, I have an ancestor that signed the Declaration of Indpendence and would love to participate in the Gumball 3000. As for who I would like to meet, I find there really are a lot of "looks" that I could be attracted to. I do tend to prefer guys my height or taller. Sense of humor is necessary. Serious when need be but isn't overwhelmed by a sense of self-importance. Enjoys a beachy lifestyle (beach, surf, bonfires, laidback). Good manners, charming and a foreign accent are all worth bonus points!! lol. I love traveling and would prefer someone who does too. The more I travel, the more I realize it's the life for me. A peripatetic existence and living in a foreign country has much more allure to me than the typical "white picket fence"/life in suburbia dream. I would like to meet a diverse, adventurous and fun loving man who is ready for something serious with the right person.
