I've just returned to Colorado after a two year trip back east because, well, I'm crazy for ever leaving Denver? I missed the snowboarding, the outdoors, and my dog certainly missed Cherry Creek State Park. I'm a middle school math and science teacher in Aurora and looking forward to starting up at my new school. I taught inner city in Connecticut and hopefully I know what I'm in for with this new job :)

A bit more about me:
I grew up in West Hartford, CT and went to Miami of Ohio for college. I'm slightly sarcastic and I still love the Whalers. I hate cold weather but love to snowboard, I'm a Mets/Steelers/UCONN fan, though will attend any team...going to a live game is always fun! I enjoy all types of music and always love going to a good concert. I love comedy movies. I'm not a "club" person, I much prefer a local bar where I know the bartender. I'm equally content staying in and playing wii or watching a movie as I am getting dressed up and going out. I'm also completely Irish which pretty much guarantees that I'm ridiculously awesome :).

There are a lot of things I'm excited about with my move back to Colorado. I'm excited to see my friends again and be closer to them, I'm also excited about the opportunities I will get with my new job (paid credits towards my masters!). I don't think I've said it enough, I cannot WAIT for Breckenridge to open, and I'm hoping to get back into some other fun activities from my past (rock climbing, kayaking, rafting) that I just haven't been able to do living on the east coast.
