[Looking to share some mutual interests and develop substantial long-term, but also intrigued by differences in another person. Collaboration is my thing. Always say, up-front, that I'm liberal and open-minded; if that disturbs you, don't waste our time, please. I like exploration and discovery: wobbling the status quo, exceeding limitations, always-learning, are things I enjoy. External wealth doesn't impress me at face-value, but strong character and individual personality do. That said, I understand that varying situations or environments call for varying modes of behavior, and I adapt flexibly and well. I'm a youngish 48, whose friends range from 25 to 65. I believe I'm passably pleasing in appearance; well, really, I consider myself a bit of a goddess, lol (not the same as "diva," you should know & please keep in mind that a "bit" is relative, here). I don't waste time with users, although I do smoke cigarettes; accept my own lacks of perfection and allow for the fact that others are not "perfect." On that note, most offended by people who use other people. I like or love kids, cats, growing things, language, laughter, weather, music, movies, food, exotic anything, books, vibrant colors, antiques, refurbished junk, travel, etc. I enjoy people in general a great deal, but prefer to have a haven of two (if a haven can be had, that's what I desire). Meaningful relationships are most valuable to me, across the board, so no games, no bs and no controllers -- have no taste or tolerance for same ol', same 'ol. Something Different, Something Wild, maybe. At least, bring some self-love (this doesn't mean "arrogance," by the way), a backbone (means just what it means, lol), and a sense of humor. Those three attributes are required.]

Lunch on a beautiful Sunday at Reynolda . . . walk through the gardens (oh, crushed basil, sweet grapes, a one-eared cat, a black snake, and all !) . . . a shop or two . . . with a special man. And, then, if this man takes pains to cook and present a beautiful dinner for me -- oh, the gotta-be-famous garlic bread -- oh, the sweet trick with the garlic ! -- and oh, the utterly divine Garibaldi ! Oh ! The preludes, each and all: who needs icing, who needs cake (even tiramisu !) -- this is my
h[e]aven . . .
[I don't really care to describe a potential first date; that's like setting up for a step-by-step, while I'm very open to surprise. I don't really care what we do, as long as the activity accommodates tete-a-tete, and the company is worth the general scenery (I do like a scenic view) -- seriously ! If a man is able to comport himself and converse fairly well, the rest is icing on a cake.]
